Chinese company LeEco is holding a grand launch event in Beijing on April 20 where it will unveil the latest products in its smart device ecosystem. One of the products could be the Le 2 smartphone or rather Super Phone as the company likes to call them. The phone in question is the supposed successor to the Le 1S, and it just found its way to GFXbench database , revealing much of its spec sheet.
As per the listing, the Le 2 (model number X620) will come with a 5.5-inch FullHD display and MediaTek’s MT6797T (Helio X25) deca-core processor with Mali T880 GPU and 3GB of RAM under the hood. It will come with 32GB of internal memory, a 16-megapixel camera on the rear along with an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Most notably, the Le 2 is expected to carry the company’s new logo. The Le 1S meanwhile continues to hone the LeTV branding.
The Le 1S – a budget phone – on the other hand comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD display, MediaTek’s Helio X10 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The dualSIM phone uses a 3,000mAh battery (with fast charging) and supports 4G LTE connectivity option.
LeEco’s April 20 event is big for the company as it is eyeing the West with this one. The company is said to announce its foray into the US market on the said date.
